Willow & Mabel Garden Company is located outside of Poulsbo, Washington on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula.  We live in a 100 year old farm house we call home on 5 acres that we are renovating, a constant work in progress.  Along with two teenage boys we have two pygmy goats called Willow & Mabel - thus the name of my flower business, and 23 chickens, two dogs & cat and honey bees.  Never a dull moment.

Seasonal flowers -  is what I am growing, promoting and selling. I am very passionate about the Slow Flower Movement. I encourage everyone to think about where their flowers come from, just like the world is starting to think more & more about where their food comes from, we need to do the same with our flowers. When you place that beautiful bouquet on the kitchen table and nuzzle your nose into it to smell the sweet smell of the season that is all that should be there, not chemicals and pesticides that have allowed your flowers to travel from the other side of the world whether they be in season or not.  It might mean that you can only get peonies in the spring, sunflowers in the heat of the summer, and the beautiful array of colors of the dahlia in the fall, but flowers grown here at our flower farm are grown using sustainable methods and no chemicals.

Meet the Team

I started chasing this dream of becoming a flower farmer in 2014. I know for sure that I would not be able to do this without the help of my long suffering husband and two teenage sons.  I am forever grateful for their support & strength - both mentally and physically!
