WILLOW & MABEL GARDEN COMPANY IS LOCATED JUST OUTSIDE OF POULSBO, WASHINGTON ON THE BEAUTIFUL OLYMPIC PENINSULA. my husband & I LIVE IN A 110 YEAR OLD FARMHOUSE ON 5 ACRES. We have two children - well now fully fledged men who are currently living in Los Angeles.

on the farm we also have chickens, sheep, pigs and two english labradors called Charlie & ruby.

willow & mabel are the names of two goats that i used to own. however they were little buggers, constantly escaping and then bulling the lambs. as they gave me more headaches than joy they moved back to their breeder who lives about 1/4 mile from my farm, so I can still wave to them as I run past their home…..but I keep running!

MY HUSBAND & I ARE ORIGINALLY FROM ENGLAND AND HAVE BOTH TRAVELLED AND LIVED ALL OVER THE WORLD BUT WE HAVE HAPPILY SETTLED IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. IN THE AUTUMN OF 2014 I HAD MY “AH HA” MOMENT, AS OPRAH WOULD SAY, AFTER READING A MAGAZINE ARTICLE ABOUT TWO LADIES IN ENGLAND THAT BECAME FARMER FLORISTS. I HAVE ALWAYS GROWN FLOWERS BUT I DECIDED THAT I WANTED TO TAKE IT ONE STEP FURTHER.

I am very passionate about educating people about locally grown flowers and the benefits of buying local. i grow APPROXIMATELY 1,700 dahlias, annual flowers that I use for weddings, events, drying and selling bouquets from my farm to the public.

i never thought that this little dream would take me so far, but boy am I glad that it did.
